PERFORMER

At seven years old, Abbs Lyman, was taken on a tour of Weathervane Playhouse in her hometown of Akron, Ohio. Quickly she fell in love and her parents placed her in an acting class. From that moment on she dedicated every moment to this new world. Abbs spent her early life at Miller South School for the Visual and Performing Arts and then continued in high school at Akron School for the Arts. During this time she was in voice lessons, performing in community and school shows, taking dance classes and attending master classes. Now a student at Manhattan School of Music, Abbs is pursuing her Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre. While studying performance, Abbs has begun to working in other parts of the theatre including directing, dramaturgy and more.
